Bengal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BIPS). Kalyani, joint venture with Government of West Bengal initiated its journey from 2006 to impart the professional education in the field of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences.

M.Pharm (Ayurveda) – Masters in Pharmacy (Ayurveda)

Objectives & Scope: This is a Master Degree course to provide in depth knowledge of Ayurvedic drugs, their method of manufacturing and also their standardization and quality control aspects.

There will be specialization in following subjects:

Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics (Rasa Shastra &BhaishjyaKalpna)
Ayurvedic Plant Sciences (DravyagunaVigyan)
Pharmaceutical Analysis and Standardization of Ayurvedic drugs.
Pharmacology and Toxicology of Ayurvedic Drugs
Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry of Ayurvedic Drugs
Duration of Course : 2 years

Eligibility : B. Pharma (Ayur) , B.Pharma or BAMS
