Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B. A. M. S.) provides basic education in the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional ayurveda. It prepares students of profound scholarship in the science of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of Ayurveda backed up by extensive practical training.

Eligibility:- Passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 1O+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 5O% marks (4O% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology took together. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.

Age: Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Duration: The Undergraduate Course, Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is of 5½ years duration (4½ years of the main course and 1-year internship).
